The races in the 4 grand deserts (Sahara, Atacama, Gobi, Antarctica!) cover a distance of 250k in 6 days, incl. your personal equipment and food. It means running a marathon per day in boiling heat, freezing cold, hurricane-like winds and up to 12.000 feet high! Over sand and with a backpack....
